1. Service Description

SeedStage provides an interactive platform where users can watch a live bird feeder via video stream, remotely dispense food for visiting birds, participate in prediction games, contribute to community jars, and engage with other users through chat and leaderboards.

2. User Accounts

You must create an account to access most features. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information and to update it as necessary. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

3. Virtual Currency (Seeds)

Seeds are a virtual currency used within SeedStage to trigger bird feedings and participate in community jars. Seeds can be obtained through purchase, daily claims, watch time rewards, achievement bonuses, and referral rewards.

• Seeds have no monetary value outside the platform
• Seeds are non-transferable between users
• Purchased Seeds are non-refundable except where required by law
• We reserve the right to adjust Seed pricing and earning rates
• Unused Seeds in expired community jars are refunded to contributors

4. Subscriptions

SeedStage offers an optional monthly subscription that provides enhanced benefits including increased daily Seeds, higher feed rate limits, priority rare bird alerts, and exclusive achievements.

• Subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe at the then-current rate
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• Monthly bonus Seeds credited as part of a subscription are non-refundable

5. Community Guidelines

When using community features such as chat, predictions, and bird naming, you agree to:

• Be respectful to other users
• Not post offensive, abusive, or inappropriate content
• Not spam, flood, or disrupt chat conversations
• Not attempt to exploit platform mechanics or game systems
• Not use automated tools or bots to interact with the platform

We reserve the right to moderate and remove content, and to suspend accounts that violate these guidelines. Chat messages are rate-limited and subject to content sanitisation.

6. Feeder Usage

The bird feeder is a shared physical device. Feeding is subject to rate limits (per user and per device) to ensure fair access and bird welfare. We make no guarantee of continuous feeder availability, as the device may be offline for maintenance, weather, or technical reasons.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on SeedStage, including the platform design, bird species data, achievement badges, and branding, is owned by SeedStage or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission. User-generated content (chat messages, bird names) remains yours, but you grant us a licence to display it on the platform.

8. Limitation of Liability

SeedStage is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding any claim. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
