SeedStage (“we”, “our”, “us”) operates an interactive bird feeder platform that lets users watch live bird activity, feed birds remotely, and participate in a community of nature enthusiasts. Account Information

When you sign in with Google, we receive your email address, display name and profile picture from your Google account. We store your Google account identifier to recognise you on later visits.

Activity Data

We record your interactions with the platform, including feeding events, bird sightings you observe, predictions you make, community jar contributions, chat messages, and watch time. This data powers leaderboards, achievements, and analytics features.

Push Notification Tokens

If you enable push notifications, we store your browser's push subscription (an address on your browser vendor's push service and its encryption keys) to deliver alerts about rare bird sightings, prediction results, and other events you opt into. Notification contents are end-to-end encrypted to your browser.

3. Payments

Seed purchases and subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We never store your credit card number, CVV, or full payment details on our servers. Stripe handles all payment processing in compliance with PCI DSS standards. We only store a reference to your Stripe customer ID and transaction records (amounts, timestamps, and package identifiers).

  • To send weekly digest emails (if subscribed)

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and activity data for as long as your account is active. Chat messages may be retained for moderation purposes. Bird sighting data is retained indefinitely as part of the community dataset.
